The Process

INTRODUCTION AND COMPOSITION DESIGN. We’ll get on an introductory video or phone call to discuss the details of your event and the scene you’d like me to capture (exchanging vows, first kiss, aisle walk, romantic moment with the venue backdrop, etc.).

DAY-OF SETUP. I will arrive 1-2h before the event (dependent on the portrait size), set up my easel near the backdrop of the chosen scene, and start sketching it up.

PAINT, PAINT, PAINT. You and your guests will get an opportunity to watch this special moment come to life on my paper while you continue to enjoy your day and celebrate. I’d also be thrilled to interact with your guests and even let them leave a few brushstrokes on your painting as a little guest book note.

FRAMING AND SHIPPING. I’ll take the painting back to my studio to finalize all the details, include any handwritten calligraphy at the bottom of the painting, get it framed into a museum-quality frame of your choice, and safely ship it to you -- to admire and remember this special moment from your wedding every time you look at it.

I require a 25% deposit to hold the date. Remaining 75% to be paid two weeks before the event.

Refund policy: A full refund of the deposit is available for cancellations up to six months before the date of the event; a 50% refund of the deposit is available for cancellations up to three months before the event.
